What is the validity of the HACCP Horeca Training certificate?

The HACCP Horeca Training certificate is valid for an indefinite period of time. If a new release of the training is issued, due to changed legislation, we strongly recommend you to attend this training again. You will be informed of this in good time. If you do not want this, please send an e-mail to hector@sensz.nl. In order to keep your knowledge up to date, we advise you to follow the course once a year.

How many questions do I have to answer correctly in order to pass?

The test consists of 70 statements, of which 56 must be correct in order to pass. You get two chances to obtain the certificate.

Can I cancel the course?

We apply the following cancellation policy:

In case of cancellation after registration you will have to pay 50% of the course fee. Please send an email to hector@sensz.nl.
Once you have logged in (whether with or without an access code to create an account), or you have started the course, you will have to pay the course in full unfortunately.

In which languages is the HACCP Horeca Training available?

The HACCP Horeca Training is available in Dutch and English.

What happens after having signed up for the course?

After registration and payment, you will receive an email with the login details for the HACCP Horeca Training and you can start immediately.

What happens to my personal data?

Sensz is committed to keeping your private data really private. When you buy a course from us, the last thing you of course want is for people to misuse your personal data.

We will, however, ask for your details so that we can help you as best we can. Our privacy statement (in dutch) explainst what information we ask for and what we use it for. You can also see what your rights are, who has access to your data and how long we keep your data.

How do I receive my HACCP Horeca Training certificate?

Once you have passed the exam you will get access to the digital certificate which you can download or print from the PDF viewer in your browser.

How can I pay?

You can choose from various payment options. You can pay by iDeal, credit card, or on the basis of an invoice (only applicable for more than 5 registrations). On receipt of your payment, you will receive your login details by email. If you pay by invoice, you will receive the invoice by email within one week. You can then transfer the outstanding amount to Sensz. After the payment has been received, you will receive an email with the login details for all the registered students.

Can I stop the course in between and continue at a later date?

You can! However, it is advisable to complete the course at once. Then you are then well-versed in the subject area and the chance of success is all the greater!

Where can I find the login page for the HACCP Horeca Training course?

You can log in via this page. However, you will need your login details as sent to you.

Can I attend the course on a tablet or smartphone?

This is possible, but we advise you to make use of a computer or laptop for the course.

Where can I turn to if I have problems logging in?

You will receive your login details via an email from Hector. When you can no longer log in, you may have forgotten your password. Use the ‘forgot password’ link on the login page.

How long does the course take?

If you take the course in one go, including the exam, you will take about 3.5  hours to complete it.

Is the course in accordance with the statutory guidelines?

Yes, the course is based on the Hygiene Code of the Hotel and Catering Industry 2016. At Sensz, we annually check the available legislation and whether there are any changes. This ensures that the course is always up to date and that it complies with the guidelines.

Is an HACCP course mandatory?

It is mandatory to receive training or instruction on the hygiene code. Our course is perfect for this!
