What is the validity of the HACCP Hospitality Industry Training certificate?
The HACCP Hospitality Industry Training certificate is valid for an indefinite period of time. If a new release of the training is issued, due to changed legislation, we strongly recommend you to attend this training again. You will be informed of this in good time. If you do not want this, please send an e-mail to hector@sensz.nl. In order to keep your knowledge up to date, we advise you to follow the course once a year.
How many questions do I have to answer correctly in order to pass?
The test consists of 70 statements, of which 56 must be correct in order to pass. You may attempt the exam two times in order to obtain the certificate.
Can I cancel the course?
We apply the following cancellation policy:
In case of cancellation after registration 50% of the course fee is payable. Please confirm your cancellation by email to hector@sensz.nl.
Once you have logged in (whether with or without an access code to create an account), or you have started the course, the course must be paid in full.
In which languages is the HACCP Hospitality Industry Training available?
The HACCP Hospitality Industry Training is available in Dutch and English. The other courses are only available in Dutch.
What happens after having signed up for the course?
After registration and payment, you will receive an email with your login details for the HACCP Hospitality Industry Training and you can start immediately.
What happens to my personal data?
Sensz is committed to keeping your private data really private. When you buy a course from us, the last thing you want is for people to misuse your personal data.
We will, however, ask for your details so that we can help you as best we can. Our privacy policy (in Dutch only) explain what information we ask for and what we use it for. You can also see what your rights are, who has access to your data and how long we keep your data.
How do I receive my HACCP Hospitality Industry training certificate?
Once you have passed the exam you will get access to the digital certificate which you can download or print from the PDF viewer in your browser.
How can I pay?
You can choose from various payment options. You can pay by iDeal, credit card, or on the basis of an invoice (only applicable for more than 5 registrations). Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive your login details by email. If you pay by invoice, you will receive the invoice by email within one week. You can then transfer the outstanding amount to Sensz. Following receipt of your payment, you will receive an email with the login details for all the registered students.
Can I stop the course in between and continue at a later date?
You can! However, it is advisable to complete the course all at once. Then you are well-versed in the subject area and your chance of success is all the greater!
Where can I find the login page for the HACCP Hospitality Industry course?
You can log in via this page. However, you will need your login details that are emailed to you.
Can I attend the course on a tablet or smartphone?
This is possible, however we advise you to make use of a computer or laptop for the course.
Where can I turn to if I have problems logging in?
You will receive your login details via an email from Hector. When you can no longer log in, you may have forgotten your password. Use the ‘forgot password’ link on the login page. Any other issues, please contact us for support.
How long does the course take?
If you take the course in one go, including the exam, you can expect to need approximately 3.5 hours for completion.
Is the course in accordance with the statutory guidelines?
Yes, the course is based on the Hygiene Code of the Hotel and Catering Industry 2016. At Sensz, we annually check the current legislation and whether there are any changes. This ensures that the course is always up to date and that it complies with the guidelines.
Is an HACCP course mandatory?
It is mandatory to receive training or instruction on the hygiene code. This course is perfect for this!
